Providers, please read the following reminder for Standard 10A.
10A: Health and Safety: Incidents: providers must know the steps to take should a critical incident arrive. These steps are:
1. Call emergency services if required
2. Contact parents or emergency contact
3. Contact Agency
4. Complete incident report
Providers must also familiarize themselves with the list of Critical Incidents as outlined in the Standards Manual on page 32 so providers are aware of what needs to be reported.
