Who needs programming where there are workers and construction vehicles right outside the window?!
The best part of this photo is that you can see that the Medicine Hat provider let the kids drag kitchen chairs into the living room so everyone could see. The provider said that the children spent all morning watching and couldn’t be convinced to do anything else. Adorable!
One of our Medicine Hat day homes had some sensory fun with play dough. Play dough is great sensory play for all ages, especially if you make your own non-toxic dough.

Mother’s Day is coming up! One of our Medicine Hat providers made these beautiful plates with her day home children:
The provider states that she purchased plates from the dollar store, then had the children colour them with permanent markers (she helped the younger children while the older ones coloured independently). She then put the plates in a cold oven, then set it for 350 for 40 minutes. After 40 minutes, turn off the oven, keeping the oven door closed until the oven is completely cooled. The plates are hand-wash only.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
