A Medicine Hat provider sent in this photo of a game she created for the children. The children had to match the letters, shapes and colours from a pile to spell out their name. The kids loved it!
A Medicine Hat provider also sent in this photo of these adorable rocks, collected and decorated by the day home kids:
Great programming! Please keep sending in your awesome activities – email them to email@example.com.
The Ooey Gooey Lady is returning to Medicine Hat! The Ooey Gooey Lady, Lisa Murphy, will be doing a workshop at the Medicine Hat College Theatre on Saturday, November 9th 2013. The workshop is presented by the Medicine Hat & District Child Care Association and runs from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and includes breakfast and lunch.
We highly recommend attending this workshop, and as such will be paying for up to twenty five providers to attend. This is a great opportunity for you and is ‘first come first served’ so register promptly! We will need to have your RSVP via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) by July 15th 2013.
Please note: if you RSVP in the affirmative and DO NOT attend, the cost of the workshop will be taken off your November cheque, as this is a cost to the Agency. So, please be sure to keep the date free! As an extra incentive – it’s a long weekend so you’ll still get two days off!
Click here for details on each session (you do not have to fill out the registration section – we will do that for you).
Here is another great Father’s Day activity from a Medicine Hat provider:
As well, a provider sent this in:
How awesome is the last answer?! Haha.
A Medicine Hat provider sent in this photo of the children’s Father’s Day crafts – such a nifty idea!
A Medicine Hat provider sent in some photos of sidewalk chalk that she made with equal parts water and cornstarch with food colouring.
I like that you can make any colour you like!
Here’s a photo of their handiwork:
Thanks for sharing!
A Medicine Hat provider sent up this photo of these adorable critters she made with the children. Does anyone remember what these foam packing peanut things are called?
In other news, if you feel we aren’t responding to your calls quickly enough, we may have been bitten by rattlesnakes – this fellow was hanging around in the parking lot!
